• The contest is aimed for aspiring Lighting Programmers, Lighting Designers and Lighting Operators

• The contest is organised to educate and promote grandMA3 software by offering a competitive platform where participants can showcase lighting programming skills

​

• It is organized into four distinct categories: Architainment, Concerts, Theatre, and Houses of Worship.

​

• The contest is open only to Indian citizens who are residing in India.

​

• The contest is open for young aspiring Lighting Designers, Programmers, Operators and students from lighting design institutes.

​​

• To participate in the contest, participants must be between the ages of 18 and 40.

​

• Upon registration, participants will gain access to the MA E-Learning platform. Completing the
  E-Learning is mandatory and will provide essential knowledge of the grandMA3 software for the contest.

​

• Participants will be required to create a lightshow using the files provided by Hi-Tech Audio & Image,
  with the current grandMA3 software.

• The pre-selection requires participants to create a light show using one of the songs selected and shared by Hi-Tech Audio & Image, along with a grandMA3 show file provided by Hi-Tech. This show file will include only the 3D Stage design with fixture alligned already present in the patch. Participants are free to position the fixtures within the 3D space as they wish, but cannot modify the patch, add or remove fixtures, or change their modes.

• However, it is allowed to insert objects such as trusses, stages, and walls. The light show must be a maximum of 3:30 minutes in length, and the video content should be a continuous recording without any editing.

​

• Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of expert entertainment lighting professionals. The final competition will take place on 11 September 2026, at the Infocomm India 2026 in Mumbai.

​

• Grand Prize: The champion will receive a grandMA3 onPC Command Wing.

​

• Runner-Up Prizes: The 1st and 2nd runner-ups will each be awarded a grandMA3 viz-key.
